1992 Medal Day, then Police Officer Terrence McGhee being awarded
the Patrolmens Benevolent Association Medal for Valor. On August 20,
1990 while assigned to the 32nd Precinct Anti-Crime Team Officer
McGhee stopped a car and one of the occupants aimed and fired a shot
at Officer McGhee, striking him in the abdomen. Although injured, the
officer took part in the violent struggle to subdue this feeling felon.
