Detective Michael Hinrichs is currently the New York City Police Departments most
decorated Officer- with four shootouts, over one thousand arrests and one hundred and
eighty plus medals and awards all within his first twelve years on the job. Detective
Hinrichs has squared off with some of New York Citys toughest criminals- surviving four
blazing gun duels, including two of which he was wounded. The bad guys fared far worse:
Three were killed and an armed-robbery suspect was wounded when Hinrichs shot a gun
out of his hand. Detective Hinrichs is still actively assigned to a Homicide Squad where he
has solved numerous murders and high profile cases.
