Detective Timothy Kennedy is one of
only a few New York City Police Officers
to have been decorated three separate
times at Medal Day. Through out his
career he was involved in seven
shootings and is the recipient of
numerous other awards including the
Detective Achievement Award, nine
Certificates of Merit for outstanding
Community Service, Bronx Field Service
Area Achievement award, Cop of the
Month award and a Certificate of
Recognition for perfect attendance.
Detective Kennedy retired from the 40th
Precinct Detective Squad.
The apple does not fall far from the tree
in that Detective Kennedy's father
served honorably as a Sergent in the
