Lt. Peter Pranzo served 21 years with the NYPD, racking up over
60 departmental medals and awards, including the Police Combat
Cross and Medal for Valor.  As a Sergeant, he was involved in two
shootouts up in Harlem’s 32nd Precinct, where he and his team
effected over 8,000 narc and gun related arrests.  Later assigned
to the NYPD’s elite Street Crime Unit, as a Lieutenant, his team
accumulated another 2,000 felony collars.  Lieutenant Pranzo has
written for twelve law enforcement magazines, written one
published book, which is now in the FBI Library (Stress
Management for Law Enforcement), and has another book pending
publication (Behind the Shield).
